Exercise: Proper Lifting Techniques

By performing proper lifting techniques, you will save your body from having injuries.   A few tips to remember include:

1. Always lift with your knee.
2. Don’t bend at the waist
3. If it is too heavy, seek assistance
4.  Always keep the object close to your body.
5.  Never twist at the waist.  Always keep your toes in the same direction as your shoulders.
